MILLGROVE, Ontario — Despite a couple incidents along the way, Cole Quinton added another pair of top-five’s to his season resume at Flamboro Speedway.
Starting last in the first feature, he would make his way up to fifth in the early laps, making a couple passes late for a third-place finish.
Starting fourth for the second feature, he would move up to second in the early laps, fading back to fourth by Lap 5. Unfortunately, the day only got worse, with contact sending the No. 18 Mustang around in turn two on Lap 7. Restarting tail of the field, Quinton would make his way back up through the field since the spin, looking for the third spot, when a slight bump saw his fellow competitor go around. Sent to the tail once again, he would work his way back up to fifth by the checkered flag.
Quinton will be back behind the wheel of his No. 18 Mustang this coming weekend at Flamboro Speedway on Saturday, July 31. The track is allowed to host 75% fan capacity, so please come out and cheer him on.
He is proud to be sponsored by Wheeler Construction, Just Foam It, Spira Fire Protection, JT Excavating, Stage it with Style, Elmsa Steel, Sunvale Homes, Source for Sports, Lucas Oil, Wix Filters, Highgrade Roofing, Pita Pit Orangeville, Nick’s Journey, and Bob’s Ice Cream on-board the No. 18 Mustang.
