The 2020 race season was certainly not what anybody expected as COVID-19 resulted in some tracks closing their doors for the year, while others elected to run a couple special events. Though even with things not going to plan, there was still progress made for B-Fee Motorsports this year.
Brandon Feeney was able to step outside of his comfort zone, and make his debut behind the wheel of a Legend at Flamboro Speedway, followed by another pair of events at Peterborough Speedway. There were certainly some rough moments, as he worked the bugs and corks out of the new ride. However, success was also had with a top-10 performance to kick things off.
The progress made by Feeney behind the wheel caught the attention of everyone, including crew chief Bailey Brown. Having experience behind the wheel herself, she noted that “seat time is the best thing for a new driver in this series” as “learning these cars over night is next to impossible.” With that in mind, there’s lots of hope that this year’s progress will translate into success for 2021.
Feeney also got to step back to his roots, taking part in a Pure Stock event at Flamboro Speedway to kick off the season as well. Combined with helping others at times this year, lots of lessons were picked up that will be beneficial moving forward.
Though everything, the team was very thankful to have support from a series of marketing partners. Special thanks to Liqui Moly Canada, Pioneer Plumbing, Auto Tires and Saftie, K1 Graphics, Signworks, Platinum RV Sales n Service, Matco Cools by Chris Vesters, Boundy Roofing, and RPM Race Parts for all their help throughout the 2020 campaign, as it was greatly appreciated despite everything. The team looks forward to working with each of these partners, and more, for the 2021 campaign.
As for next season, there are some changes and expansions happening that will certainly catching everyone’s eyes as the team looks to have success. Fans are encouraged to keep up with the latest news by liking the B-Fee Motorsports facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/teamfocusracing/.
