MILLGROVE, Ontario — Although their first trip to Flamboro Speedway was a learning experience, it did not end on the note that they hoped for.
After showing speed in practice, both Brandon Steele and Cheyenne Charles would be forced to partake in the b-main, hopeful of being one of the six to transfer from the 12-lap affair to the main event. It did not work out as planned, with both drivers getting caught up in a Lap 1 incident after the field went three-wide through turn four and collided coming off. The pair soldiered on from there, with Steele placing 11th, while Charles finished 14th.
Although they did not end off the year as they hoped, the pair remain confident through the off-season about their chances heading into 2021 after experiencing success at Full Throttle Motor Speedway earlier this year, with Steele winning the b-main there.
