SAUBLE BEACH, Ontario — Making his way forward throughout the 50-lap feature at Sauble Speedway, Coltin Everingham would score a top-five finish.
The day did not start off as strong, with Everingham posting the 15th quickest time in qualifying to start on the inside of the eighth row. He would not make much progress through the beginning 10 laps, only moving up into the 13th spot by Lap 15. The progress continued, with Everingham finding himself just inside the top-10 when the caution came out with 10 laps to go.
A series of restarts would contact at the front of the field, involving several cars, including Everingham going around for a spin in the grass after getting caught in the second incident. However, he still managed to come out of everything strongly, scored fifth afterwards. He would use the restart to his advantage, avoiding another incident of contact to move up into third.
The following restart would not go in his favor, as he would slip back a pair of spots to fifth. Though from there, he managed to hold on, scoring a fifth-place finish.
Everingham will be back behind the wheel of the No. 96 Modified for Wally Wilson Racing at Flamboro Speedway on September 12. The No. 48 Super Stock will also be in attendance, with Ryan Semple behind the wheel. The event will be broadcast live on G Force TV at http://www.GForceTV.net.
Everingham is proud to receive sponsorship support from Zolo Reality, Ryan’s Landscaping, CRP, and Eagle Eye Contracting
