Wally Wilson Scores Top-15 at Jukasa Motor Speedway as Everingham Battles Mechanical Woes

HAGERSVILLE, Ontario — When the Queenston Cheverolet Buick GMC OSCAAR Modifieds made the trip to Jukasa Motor Speedway this past weekend, it was the sight of mixed  fortunes for Wally WIlson Racing.

Wilson would start off the day by qualifying 16th for the 40-lap event, ready to make his way forward. From the drop of the green, he would begin to make progress forward, ultimately crossing the finish line with a 13th-place finish. It marks his track-best performance after wrecking out in his first appearance, and 21st last season.

Everingham, meanwhile, ran into mechanical issues all day long. It began in practice with motor issues, but hard work by the team was able to get them fixed in time for the green flag. Starting from the tail of the field, he was poised to move forward in his series debut, only to suffer clutch issues ending his event early on Lap 5.

The modifieds will be back out at Flamboro Speedway on September 12, but stay tuned to the Wally Wilson Racing page as we may be out sooner.

Wally Wilson Racing is proud to be supported by The Fyre Place & Patio Shop and Have1.com in 2020. Additional sponsors will also be released in the future.
