OBSERVATIONS: Grisdale Racing Products Late Model Season

The features for the Grisdale Racing Product Late Model season at Flamboro Speedway are officially in the books, with the champion crowned as J.R. Fitzpatrick took home the top honors.

As we look back on an exciting year of racing, here are your final statistical observations.

1st was the best average finish in Grisdale Triple Crown (GTC) competition, set by Shane Maginnis with his victory at Frostoberfest

1.6667 was the second-best average finish in GTC competition, set by Shae Gemmell, across all three features

1.8125 was the best average finish in regular points racing, set by J.R. Fitzpatrick across all 16 features

of Rick Burbridge scored his lone feature victory of 2019 on June 6

2nd was the third-best average finish in GTC competition, set by Matt Pritiko with a runner-up in the opening round

races for the GTC, three different feature winners – Gemmell, Fitzpatrick, and Maginnis

of Gemmell won the opening GTC round on May 25 en route to his championship

3.3333 was the fourth-best average finish in GTC competition, set by Fitzpatrick, across all three features

3.75 was the second-best average finish in regular points racing, set by Kevin Albers, across all 16 features

4.3333 was the third-best average finish of regular points racing, set by Blair Wickett, across three features

4.3333 was the fifth-best average finish in GTC competition, set by Billy Schwartzenburg, across all three features

4.4375 was the fourth-best average finish of regular points racing, set by Rick Burbridge, across all 16 features

4.6667 was the sixth-best average finish in GTC competition, set by Jake Sheridan, across all three features

4.75 was the fifth-best average finish of regular points racing, set by Mark Burbridge, across all 16 features

points separated Gemmell and Fitzpatrick at season’s end in the GTC standing

drivers scored more than six feature top-five’s, regular season and GTC, combined – Fitzpatrick (18), Rick Burbridge (13), Mark Burbridge (12), Albers (10) and Carson Nagy (7)

50 of Chad Corcoran scored his lone feature victory of 2019 on July 20

66 points separated Fitzpatrick and Rick Burbridge at season’s end in the standings
