MILGROVE, Ontario — Unfortunately, things would not go as planned for Wally Wilson Racing at Flamboro Speedway’s Frostoberfest with bad luck both days.
The issues began right from the start of Saturday night, with the chain braking during his first heat. He would fail to take the green in the second qualifier, forcing him to start at the back of the field. He would begin to make his way forward, ultimately crossing the finish line in 17th.
Then on Sunday, Wilson would finish seventh in his first heat, followed by a ninth in his second qualifier.
Starting near the back for the feature, Wilson would look to move his way forward, though was stuck back in 17th through the opening 19 laps. He would discover that his car had developed a mechanical issue, resulting in him pulling off on Lap 26, done for the event. He would be credited with a 16h-place finish.
