SAUBLE BEACH, Ontario — The victories keep coming for Daniel Hawn, as he scored the Living Lighting, Scott Reinhart Trailer Sales Ltd OSCAAR Pro Sprint feature presented by Queenston Chevrolet Buick GMC win on Saturday night at Sauble Speedway.
James Stanley won the first heat ahead of Ryan Battilana, Tyler Cullen, Kevin Taylor, and Ken McKenzie.
Daniel Hawn won the second heat ahead of Rob Summers, Brad Holmes, Rob McCall, Jaden Riddell, and Norman Newman.
Daniel Hawn went for the daily double, winning the third heat ahead of Summers, Stanley, Battilana, Cullen, Taylor, McKenzie, and Newman.
The feature would see Daniel Hawn waste no time making his way to the front, taking the lead by the end of the first lap. He then led the rest of the 25 laps en route to his seventh feature victory this season. The win allows him to extend his advantage to 36 points.
James Stanley, who currently ranks second in the standings, crossed the finish line on Saturday night with a runner-up finish. It took longer for Stanley to make his way forward, as he only moved into the second spot as of the seventh lap. It marks his eighth top-five in a season where he has finished no worse than third all year.
Rob Summers finished third for his second straight podium finish, while Ryan Battilana rebounded from motor issues at Flamboro Speedway for a fourth-place finish. Tyler Cullen finished fifth for his fifth top-five of 2019.
Kevin Taylor and Ken Mckenzie rounded out the field in the drivers who were able to run the feature. Unfortunately, Rob McCall, Brad Holmes, Jaden Riddell, and Norman Newman did not run the main event as a result of issues in qualifying.
The Living Lighting OSCAAR Pro Sprints have a short turn around time, as they will be racing at Grand Bend Speedway this Saturday, September 7, with their feature presented by GB Advanced Powder Coating.
