Samantha Shaw has been fast all year at Sunset Speedway, and that shined through on Saturday night en route to her parking the No. 81 Mustang in victory lane.
Shaw was fast from the drop of the green flag in the 25-lap feature, moving into the top spot on Lap 6 and never looking back from there. It marks her third victory of the season in a year where she has finished no worse than third in 10 features.
Melissa Bullen finished second for a season-best performance, with last week’s feature winner Tyler Seaboyer finishing third. Seaboyer currently holds a 24-point advantage over Shaw with two races remaining. Pat MacDonald finished fourth for his third top-five, with Terry Woodley in fifth.
Curtis Stewart finished sixth for his eighth top-10, followed by Jason D’Antimo, Connor Maltese, Chris Thompson, and Bob Phinnemore. Jeff Laflamme finished 11th, followed by Peter Wakeling, Rob Welles, and Eric Rainey.
