Emms and Hawn Brothers Continue to Hold Serve in Standings

Another weekend of action in the books for the three OSCAAR divisions saw points advantages extended at the top of the standings, but the rest of the field brought closer together. With the Modifieds and Pro Sprints in action this weekend at Flamboro Speedway, here is a critical update.

Queenston Chevrolet Buick GMC, Scott Reinhart Trailer Sales Ltd OSCAAR Modified Series

After picking up a podium at Sunset Speedway, A.J. Emms kept the points lead, now 17 points ahead of Anthony DiBello. Jason Keen sits third, followed by Luke Gignac and Norman Newman, with the championship wide open as the top-five are only separated by 36 points.

Motor issues see Shawn Chenoweth drop to sixth in points, followed by Gary Elliott, Kelly Balson, Jase Cornell, and Dale Reinhart.

Alternatively, Newman leads DiBello by two points in the MavTV Canada Rookie of the Year Standings following the first four features of 2019. Bryan Batty and Jim Bowman round out the rookie points.

In the newly added John Harper Hard Charger Award standings, Dale Reinhart and Norman Newman are tied for the top spot in the standings. Cornell sits third, followed by Balson, Gignac, Batty, Chenoweth, and Emms. The top-seven are just separated by 19 points.

The Queenston Chevrolet Buick GMC, Scott Reinhart Trailer Sales Ltd OSCAAR Modifieds are back in action on Saturday, July 27 at Flamboro Speedway, with their feature presented by Touchwood Cabinets.

Knightworks Design, Scott Reinhart Trailer Sales Ltd OSCAAR Hot Rod Series

Tyler Hawn

Two-time and defending series champion Tyler Hawn currently leads Steve Book by 37 points following this past weekend’s fourth event of 2019 at Sunset Speedway, presented by Fox’s Bakery & Deli, and TSS Top Shops.

Two-time heat winner Dalen Martin sits third in points, followed by Nick Clarke and Jeremy McLean. Brandon Robertson sits sixth, followed by Robert Robinson, Dan Rothwell, Adam Misener, and Sean Walker.

Alternatively, Dalen Martin takes over the Ohsweken Speedway Rookie of the Year standings, two points ahead of Brandon Robertson. Rodney Rutherford sits third, followed by Bob Parsons and Sean Walker. Robert Robinson sits sixth, followed by Leroy Robinson, Greg Belyea, Bradley Holt, and Ryan Cowan.

In the newly added John Harper Hard Charger Award standings, Steve Book takes over the lead by six points over Adrian Foster. Brandon Robertson sits third, followed by Tyler Hawn, Jerry Broom, and Nick Clarke.

The Knightworks Design, Scott Reinhart Trailer Sales Ltd OSCAAR Hot Rod Series is back in action on Saturday, August 10, at Brighton Speedway. The event will be sponsored by Excess Storage, Just Like Home Dog Care Centre, and McDonalds Brighton.

Currently undefeated in feature action, Daniel Hawn currently leads the standings by 20 points over James Stanley. Ryan Battilana sits third, followed by Jaden Riddell and Rob Summers. The top-five are within 35 points of each other.

Tyler Cullen currently sits sixth, followed by Brad Holmes, Kevin Taylor, Gary Triska, and Dylan Little.

Alternatively, Brad Holmes leads the Hinkley Lighting Rookie of the Year Standings by three points over Little. Russ Couture sits third, followed by Owen Elliott and Rob McCall.

In the newly added John Harper Hard Charger Award standings, Jaden Riddell and Daniel Hawn are tied for the top spot. Ryan Battilana sits third, followed by James Stanley and Tyler Cullen. The top-four are within 10 points of each other.

The Living Lighting, Scott Reinhart Trailer Sales Ltd OSCAAR Pro Sprints will be back in action on July 26 at Flamboro Speedway, with their feature presented by Pinnacle Home Environment Solutions.
