Austyn Jennett Leads SKLD Motorsports in Successful Night

INNISFIL, Ontario — After a couple of weeks off, SKLD Motorsports returned to Sunset Speedway with three strong runs in the Signs of Innovation Bone Stock invitational.

Austyn Jennett has been struggling with mechanical issues through the past month, but the time off enabled the SKLD Motorsports team to make the necessary repairs. As a result, he was able to put together his best run to date, scoring a eighth-place finish in the feature.

Karlie Wilman was headed for a strong performance, when she cut a tire down mid-way through the event. The SKLD Motorsports pit crew quickly changed the right front on the No. 14, getting her back on-track. She would battle hard the rest of the way, crossing the finish line in 10th for her fifth top-10 of 2019.

Andrew Shilling ran strong through the first half of the event, but ran into mechanical issues in the second half. He would be credited with a 11th-place finish.

SKLD Motorsports will continue their season at Sunset Speedway on Saturday, July 27 with their mini stock back in action. The Bone Stocks are then back in action a week later on August 3.

The Bone Stocks are proud to receive sponsorship from Orillia Auto Centre, All Area Towing, The Car Guy, Orillia Buy Sell Trade, The Creative Plate Eatery, Canoe Fresh Food Market, RB Graffix, The Water Store Orillia, and Foster Motorsports for 2019. Jennett is also pleased to get additional sponsorship from Able Taxi.
