INNISFIL, Ontario — The SKLD Motorsports team may have been busy with all four of their entries on-track, but the team’s efforts were rewarded with a quartet of top-10 finishes.
Once again this weekend, Doug Wilman would be behind the wheel of the No. 14 Mini Stock, running strong throughout the feature en route to a solid ninth-place finish.
The three bone stock entries would start together in the feature, and that’s where they’d remain throughout the 20-laps. There were some close moments, as they not only battled their competitors, but each other for positions throughout the event. Ultimately, Karlie Wilman led the way with an eighth-place finish, followed by Austyn Jennett and Andrew Shilling.
It is worth noting this was Jennett’s first top-10 of 2019. Alternatively, it marked the fourth top-10 of the season for Wilman and Shilling.
SKLD Motorsports will continue their season at Sunset Speedway on Saturday, July 13, with just the No. 14 Mini Stock in action. The three Bone Stocks will have a couple weeks off before their next points event on August 3.
Wilman’s No. 14 Mini Stock is proudly sponsored by SGCG Motorsports, D’s Original Smoke Shack, Foster Motorsports, Mary Kay Cosmetics, RB Graffix, and EPIC Racewear.
The Bone Stocks are proud to receive sponsorship from Orillia Auto Centre, All Area Towing, The Car Guy, Orillia Buy Sell Trade, The Creative Plate Eatery, Canoe Fresh Food Market, RB Graffix, The Water Store Orillia, and Foster Motorsports for 2019. Jennett is also pleased to get additional sponsorship from Able Taxi.
