Flamboro Speedway

Kitchener, Ont — New changes unfolded in the off season as two teams became one. RJ Croteau of Croteau Racing and Michael Kenny of Kenny Motorsports joined forces to become Croteau-Kenny Racing. RJ who has spent the last two years running part time in the Super Stock division has decided to jump into the ultra competitive Mini Stock division at Flamboro Speedway. Michael will be returning to the Mini Stock division for his fourth season.

In 2019 RJ will be behind the wheel of the newly branded 08 Honda Prelude that he will pilot on a weekly basis at the tough bullring of Flamboro Speedway. 2018 saw RJ make 12 starts in the Super Stock division before a blown motor sidelined him for the year. RJ was able to secure a part time ride alongside Michael Kenny running a Pure Stock at Full Throttle Motor Speedway and Flamboro Speedway.

This year is shaping up to be a good year. After motor troubles plagued the team last year. The #08 is ready to hit the ground running in 2019. RJ is excited to be working with Michael and feeding off each other to get the best possible results at the end of the night. The biggest event on the Mini Stock calender in 2019 is joining the APC Late Model Series at Jukasa Motor Speedway on July 25th. Croteau: ‘ To be able to race at the crown jewel where so much history has taken place is gonna be a thrill for sure’.

Michael Kenny is set to return to his normal #07 machine for the 2019 season. Kenny will be returning to Flamboro Speedway after a dismal 2018 campaign that saw Michael compete in 10 events before being sidelined by a a motor issue. Michael’s coming into this year with a sense of renewed focus and determination, ‘ Last year didn’t go as planned and the teams been hard at work making sure this is the car to beat when we offload on race day’.

2019 is shaping up to be a busy year for Croteau-Kenny Racing. On top of a full season at Flamboro the team will make making multiple appearances at Full Throttle Motor Speedway located just outside of Mount Forest. The team is looking forward to joining the APC Late Model Tour at Jukasa in July. Of course the wind down at the end of the season where the playoffs occur at Flamboro Speedway with Frostoberfest and as well as Autumn Colours at Peterborough Speedway.
