INNISFIL, Ontario — Leading laps during the feature, Ethan Constable scored a season-best finish at Sunset Speedway on Saturday night.
Constable was fast from the start of the night, finishing third in the first heat. He then survived a crash in the second qualifier to finish third.
Starting second in the feature, he got alongside Dustyn Mombourquette for the top spot on Lap 4, completing the pass one lap later. He then began to cruise away from the field, building up a sizable lead by the halfway point. Though the lead would begin to shrink in the second half, with eventual feature winner Justin Holmes getting alongside Constable for the top spot on Lap 22. He would complete the pass one lap later, bumping Constable back to second.
Constable would try to get back by Holmes on a late-race restart, but was unable to do so, ultimately crossing the finish line in second for his best finish of the season thus far. It also marks his seventh top-10 of 2018.
Constable is proud to be supported by Lefroy Plumbing, Innisfil Garage Doors, Pumpmytank.ca, RTI Equipment Solutions, Sturdy Power Lines, and Mr. Auto Service.
