INNISFIL, Ontario — With Cameron McGlashan attending a wedding, car owner Dave Middel made the decision to put Johnny Paradzinski behind the wheel of the No. 00 Mustang on Saturday night at Sunset Speedway.

Paradzinski would perform well in the qualifying heats, finishing seventh and sixth in the pair of qualifying heats.

Come feature time, he was continuing to get used to the handling characteristics of the mustang, while battling hard for a solid finish. Unfortunately while in position for a possible top-10 finish, he’d go for a spin on the last-lap off the final corner. He would be credited with a 14th-place finish.

McGlashan’s next appearance at Sunset Speedway in the Signs of Innovation Mini Stock division is set for Saturday, August 4. Racing starts at 6pm, with the front gates opening at 4:30pm.
