SAUBLE BEACH, Ontario — After winning four straight features in a row, the luck finally caught up with Kevin Bridge as his fortunes switched away from his favor this past weekend.
Racing in the third round of the Great Lakes Concrete Series on Thursday, he would make his way up to fifth in the heat after starting from the tail of the field. Knowing the team was dealing with a motor issue, he took the conservative approach for the feature, winding up fifth when the checkered flag fell.
The team worked to have the motor issues fixed for this past Saturday night, and Bridge would pick up a heat victory. However, it wasn’t meant to be as he would go up in smoke during the feature.
The next night of racing at Sauble Speedway for the Mini Stocks is set for Saturday, July 21. The fourth round of the Great Lakes Concrete Series will take place Sunday, August 5 at Sauble Speedway.
Kevin Bridge Racing is proud to be supported by LiUNA, Coldwell Banker – Kincardine, UPI Energy, Spira Fire Protection, Permatex, Huronview Insurance Brokers Ltd., Daniel Kelley Custom Cabinetry, Gilcreest Speed and Custom, and Castrol.
