After a recent string of bad luck, Ryan Semple will be hoping to turn things around heading into the second half of the 2018 campaign.
The driver of the No. 64 Semple Motorsports entry has shown speed no matter which track he has ran, whether it be Sunset Speedway or Sauble Speedway, through the beginning half of the season. However, whether it be due to contact on-track or a flat tire, something has removed him from competition while running inside the top-10 at the time.
Now entering the second half of the season, the door is wide open and the focus will be on getting the No. 64 back in victory lane, whether at Sauble Speedway or Sunset Speedway. The schedule has yet to be set in stone, but consisting of visits to both tracks will bring plenty of chances for success to come his way.
If the team can begin to see things fall the way they need it to, all the pieces are there. Semple proved that when he drove through the field after starting at the back to finish fifth at Sunset Speedway last month, and by winning a heat race at Sauble Speedway on Canada Day weekend. The statistics from previous years back that up as he finished second in the Sunset standings at the end of 2017 with one win and 17 top-10 finishes.
