Jordan Hanna has been on a terror this season, and that continued this past weekend at Sauble Speedway as he scored his eighth feature victory of 2017 on Saturday night.
Daniel Hawn won the first heat for his fourth of the season ahead of Craig Pitchell, Cassidy Marsh, Steve Belfry, Shawn Stanley, Ted Greenwood, and Gary Triska.
Jordan Hanna won the second qualifier for his seventh of the season ahead of James Stanley, Brent Kemps, Rob Summers, James Marche, and Brody Rickwood.
Jordan went for the daily double in the third heat ahead of Hawn, Pitchell, Summers, Rickwood, Shawn Stanley, and Greenwood.
Cassidy Marsh won the fourth qualifier for his first heat victory of 2017 ahead of Kemps, James Stanley, Belfry, Marche, and Triska.
Come feature time, Brent Kemps led the first two laps off of the pole, before Daniel Hawn made his way to the lead after starting fifth. He’d go on to lead the next 11 laps, before being chased down for the top spot.
Jordan Hanna then made his move, leading the next 12 laps en route to his eighth feature victory of 2017. Notably, Hanna has only failed to win one main event this season (Peterborough Race 2), just missing it though with a runner-up.
Daniel Hawn finished second for his eighth top-five of 2017, followed by Craig Pitchell in third to tie his season-best. James Stanley placed fourth for his third top-five of the year, with James Marche in fifth for a second straight top-five.
Brody Rickwood finished sixth for his ninth top-10, followed by Brent Kemps in seventh for his sixth straight top-10. Rob Summers placed eighth for his seventh top-10 of the year, with Steve Belfry in ninth for his fifth top-10 of 2017. Shawn Stanley finished 10th for his third top-10 of the season.
Gary Triska finished 11th, followed by Ted Greenwood and Cassidy Marsh.
