While the box score will not reflect the performance put in on Saturday night, it appears the Jaded Motorsports team is making solid progress.
Jade Franklin started off the night solidly, finishing sixth in his first heat, followed by a seventh in his second qualifier.
Starting up front for the feature, he ran fourth through the early stages, getting alongside Jay Cutting for third on Lap 3 just before the caution flew for a stopped car in turn three. On the restart, he remained third till the fourth caution of the event flew with 24 laps to go. The following restart did not according to plan, with Franklin falling back to eighth by the halfway mark of the feature. He’d continue to run there, ultimately getting passed in the final laps to cross the finish line in ninth.
Unfortunately, the finish was not officially registered for the season due to a post-race disqualification.
The Jaded Motorsports team is set to keep digging this week in hopes of scoring their third top-10 of 2017 in the next night of competition.
Jaded Motorsports continues is proud to be supported by Duienvoorden Haulage, Lloyds Haulage, Nitro Industrial Sales, Adco Tire, Kings, North River Motorsports, Orvauto and Polished Automotive for 2017.
