Wally Wilson Suffers Mechanical Issues at Flamboro Speedway

After getting in some testing this past week, Wally Wilson was hopeful to continue improving behind the wheel of his OSCAAR Modified. However, he was unable to compete as a result of a mechanical problem.

Before the team left for the race track, the were facing some fuel pump issues, but believed that they were fixed upon making the trip. However, once they arrived at the track for the first heat, the fuel pump stopped working, causing Wilson to have to pull off. The issue occurred once again in the second heat, forcing the No. 69 Modified back into the trailer prior to the feature.

Wilson and his team would like to thanks Emms Racing Enterprises, Mike Westwood, Charles Priestley, and anyone else who may have attempted to help in getting him back in action.

Wilson’s OSCAAR Modified season will continue on July 1 with his first visit of 2017 to Sauble Speedway. He will be keeping busy this coming weekend, as he will also be behind the wheel of both his Midget and Pro Midget, as well.

Wally Wilson Racing is proud to be supported by Have1.com and The Fyre Place & Patio Shop this season. He is also a proud supporter of #BurnOutTheBully and Laps for Muscular Dystrophy.
