MILLGROVE, Ontario — There may have some tricks to avoid to get to the checkered flag, but ultimately, it was Dan Dos Santos and Jo Lawrence capturing the biggest treats as part of Flamboro Speedway’s Halloween Special weekend to cap off the 2025 campaign.
Over 50 cars showed up for the annual Halloween Enduro 200, and ironically, it was the car with the No. 1 that completed the 200 laps in the top spot of the leaderboard. Dan Dos Santos was credited with the victory ahead of Curtis Stewart, a past weekly Mini Stock regular at Sunset Speedway and Richard Polmateer. Kris Lawrence, who is no stranger to success at Flamboro, was fourth ahead of Kole Bishop-Polmateer. Joe Lynch was sixth in front of Matt Hasprzyckz, Dylan Sharp, Billy Durant, and Jeremy Bard.
Long-time track supporter Mike Klotz was 11th, followed by Pure Stock competitor Hailey Hill, Shawn Stewart, Kyle Lucas, Michael Martyniuk, Brooke Nelson, Curtis Young, Rodney Rutherford, Michael Taylor, and Mike Plazek.
The afternoon also included a 40-lap Halloween Spooktacular for the Hogan Law & McClurkin Properties of Cambridge Pure Stocks, with a pair of heats used to set the field.
Hailey Hill proved she has learned a lot in her rookie campaign by winning the first heat ahead of Rodney Rutherford, Chase Mitchell, Craig Cole, Matt Young, Phil Givens, Justin Stoyanovski, Cam Thomson, Sterling Roberts, Chris Armstrong, Kyle Lucas, and Jacob Landry.
Long-time competitor Gary Slama won the second qualifier in front of Jo Lawrence, Spencer Riddell, Leo Labarbera, Brandyn Milligan, Rick Mitchell, Curtis Young, Mike Hall, Kris Lawrence, Darren Glavin, Dan Storey, and John Cote.
When it came time for the main event, it was the veterans that rose their way to the top of the field once all 40 laps were complete. Jo Lawrence took the lead on Lap 13 and did not look back in leading the rest of the way en route to the victory ahead of Gary Slama, Craig Cole, Matt Young, and Rodney Rutherford. Chase Mitchell capped off his great season with a sixth in front of Phil Givens, Spencer Riddell, Brandyn Milligan, and Hailey Hill.
Dan Storey rebounded from a poor qualifying effort for 11th, followed by Cam Thomson, Sterling Roberts, Leo Labarbera, Rick Mitchell, Justin Stoyanovski, Curtis Young, Mike Hall, Chris Armstrong, and Kyle Lucas. Darren Glavin was 21st ahead of Jacob Landry, Kris Lawrence, and John Cote.
