Traves Scores Frostoberfest Feature Victory as Boyes Crowned Great Lakes Champion

MILLGROVE, Ontario — There was a pair of smiling faces when the checkered flag waved for the Great Lakes Legends as part of Frostoberfest at Flamboro Speedway as Parker Traves took home the victory and an igloo, while Matt Boyes was crowned the 2025 Series Champion.

Parker Traves put together a dominating performance running inside the top-three all day, holding off a hard charge from behind throughout the 30-lap feature to score the victory on Saturday, October 4. He almost did not take home the victory, as the motor missing allowed Jordan Latimer and Matt Boyes to close right on his bumper in the final couple laps, but unable to find a way by.

Jordan Latimer kept the solid season going with a runner-up, while a third-place finish allowed Matt Boyes to clinch the championship. Cole McFadden and Joe Adams rounded out the top-five. Cole Kamrath’s season capped off with a solid sixth in front of Del Freiburger, Austin Arnel, Andrew McFadden, and Jesse Kennedy.

Mackenzie Milwain continued his rookie campaign with an 11th, followed by Bob Bailey, Nathan Huffman, Austin Seburn, Josh Hollestelle, and Zach Hatch, who went for a spin on Lap 6. Todd Tolton, Amber Wallis, and Chase Stievenart rounded out the field.

Heat victories went to Traves, Adams, and Stievenart.
