Cole Quinton Scores Top-10 in APC Series Event at Flamboro Speedway

MILGROVE, Ontario — Returning to a track he knows well, Cole Quinton was competitive throughout the London Recreational Racing 100 en route to a top-10 finish.

Quinton did not show as much as speed in practice as he would have hoped, completing the session ranked 13th on the board. He looked to turn it around in qualifying, posting a lap of 15.380 seconds to put him 11th on the starting grid.

Taking the green flag in the sixth row, Quinton was able to keep himself out of trouble in the first three-quarters of the event. He then took advantage of the final 25 laps, making his way forward to crack the top-10 with 15 laps to go, running as high as eighth. He would get passed on the last lap en route to crossing the finish line in ninth.

Quinton currently ranks 13th in the series standings following five races this season. He is the highest ranked rookie currently, 20 markers ahead of Kody Ferri.

The next event on the APC Auto Parts United Late Model Series sees Quinton head to Sauble Speedway on Saturday, August 3. Quinton got his first laps at the beach last season, scoring a podium appearance in weekly competition and an 11th in his APC Series appearance.
