Shawn Taylor Scores Mini Stock Frostoberfest Feature Victory at Flamboro

MILLGROVE, Ontario — After laying down the second quickest time, Shawn Taylor found his way to the lead just before the halfway mark en route to winning the Frostoberfest feature at Flamboro Speedway.

The driver of the No. 76 Mini Stock parlayed his fifth-place starting spot into making his way up to second with just 14 laps on the board. He then reeled in Doug Butler, passing him five laps later for the top spot. Shawn Taylor then paced the final 31 laps en route to picking up the checkered flag.

Flamboro Speedway Champion Mike Thomson finished second after getting by Butler on Lap 20, with Doug Butler completing the podium. Nolan Gould set the fast time, battling his way to fourth ahead of Blaise Shaw.

Karl Sault was sixth in front of Dale Millard, Jacob Sutcliffe, Brian Wilson Sr., and Ryan Edwards-Kiss. Pure Stock Co-Champion Wayde Thorne battled just outside the top-10 to place 11th, followed by Kaitlyn Wallace, Brian Wilson Jr., Mike Gilmour, Doug Butler, Chris Tubman, Wyatt Sutcliffe, Rory Markle, and Ryder White.

RJ Croteau was 11th, with Mike Robinson III failed to finish after experiencing issues on Lap 20. Terry Woodley pulled off on Lap 10 en route to 23rd ahead of Kent Missions, Dave Goodacre, and Tyler Lewis.
