Cole Quinton Scores First Career Late Model Top-Five at Flamboro Speedway

MILLGROVE, Ontario — The continued progression each week behind the wheel, combined with finding what the car likes, is coming together for Cole Quinton Racing as evident by this past weekend at Flamboro Speedway.

The first feature saw Cole Quinton start in the back half of the field, but it did not faze him in knowing what he had been able to do the past couple weeks. He was once again able to make his way forward in the closing stages of the 30 lap event, crossing the finish line in sixth.

The invert for the second feature saw him start in the top-five for the first time, which he was ready to capitalize immediately. Surrounded by experience and APC Auto Parts United Late Model Series tour regulars, the rookie stood his ground within the top-three of the running order through the first half. Although the speed remained in the No. 18 for the remaining 15 laps, he would fade a bit in the running order, placing fifth for his first career Late Model top-five.

Quinton has now scored a top-10 in each of his six races this season, with the worst finish being ninth on opening night.

Cole Quinton Racing is proud to be supported by Stage it With Style, Just Foam It, Spira Fire Protection, Wheeler Construction, JT Excavating, Pita Pit Orangeville, Nick’s Journey, All Team Sports, Elma Steel, Hyde-Whipp Heating & Air Conditioning, Lay’N It Down Flooring, DJD Graphics, Brokerlink Insurance, Blue Triton, and Hy-Grade Steel Roofing.
