PETERBOROUGH, Ontario — Paul Boundy has kicked off his 2022 campaign in style, picking up a checkered flag on Peterborough Speedway’s opening night.
Paul Boundy was fast from the initial green flag, pacing the way in his qualifier en route to picking up the checkered flag. He then started third in the second heat, unfortunately dropping back a spot just past halfway to place fourth.
Starting third for the 25-lap feature, Boundy ran his quickest lap of the event in the early stages, defending his position against his competitors. He would try to move his way forward through the remaining laps, though was unable to. As a result, he crossed the line with a solid third-place finish.
Boundy is proud to be supported by Boundy Roofing, Mark Rainford Auto Center, Port Perry Salvage INC, Alma Mechanical, Cobourg East Campground, Orono Country Cafe, Signworks Port Perry, and Circa 1818 for the 2022 campaign.
