Robertson & co. and their OSCAAR Hot Rod team are expanding their drivers line up for the 2022 racing season.
18 yr. old Jacob Ross and his championship Ross Motorsport team have joined forces with Robertson & Co. this upcoming season, joining fellow young gun stand out, Jaeger McMaster and veteran Marty Monette. Team owner Brandon Robertson says, “It’s time to pass the torch over to the youth, in order to grow the sport and our team”.
Jacob hopes to continue learning his craft after winning his 1st asphalt late model championship in 2021 and will share the #74 with Jaeger McMaster running 6 races for the team along with his 500 outlaw micro sprint at Little Middleton speedway, a pro stock at Grand Bend speedway for Gord Bennett and Tabitha Van Bruwaene, a dirt thunder stock for Blake Bomberry JR and will test a B Mod on dirt at Thunder City Speedway in Thunder Bay for Dave Allen Racing.
Jaeger McMaster hopes to pick up where he left off at the end of the 2021 season, winning the Autumn Colors Classic at Peterborough speedway in dominating fashion. Learning how to win was the key to his success at the end of last season and he looks forward to applying what he’s learned again this year. Jaeger will also drive for Blake Bomberry JR in his dirt Thunder Stock, learning the art of turning right to go left.
Marty Monette will share his beautiful OSCAAR Hot Rod mustang with Jaeger for several races, allowing the boys to race together at several speedways this summer. Marty is a veteran driver with championships and feature wins spanning over 30 years and is a huge supporter of the sport and the changing of the guard so to say, allowing the young guns to take the wheel and the team’s future into their hands.
Robertson & Co. has been racing since the early 90’s in various classes across Ontario and has always been competitive and committed to our sport. 2022 is going to be a big change for the team and everyone at Robertson &Co. Racing is excited, committed and focused on bringing this team to the front.
