INNISFIL, Ontario — Leading laps in the feature, Karlie Wilman scored a top-10 on Saturday night at Sunset Speedway.
Wilman started off the night by scoring a fourth and third in her qualifying heats, putting her on the pole for the feature. She’d break out to the early lead, pacing the first four laps before being passed.
She’d ultimately fade back to fourth by Lap 5, remaining there until the race’s lone caution for debris on Lap 11. Restarting on the second row, she would not get a good restart, ultimately fading back to sixth. She would challenge for fifth through the later stages of the event, but was unable to complete the pass, crossing the line in sixth.
