INNISFIL, Ontario — Making his first trip to Sunset Speedway, Brandon Steele ran up front all night en route to a top-five finish.
Steele showed speed in his first heat with a sixth, followed by a third in the second qualifier. Starting fourth for the feature, he moved into the second spot in the early stages. He was able to maintain through the opening laps, though ultimately fell back to fourth by Lap 10. Despite pushing himself and his car as hard as he could, he found himself back to sixth by Lap 18.
He would cross the finish line in sixth, but a pair of disqualifications post-race bumped him up to the fourth position.
