From Delaware Speedway Track Officials
Delaware Speedway management is thrilled to announce an updated and exciting schedule for the 2021 race season. With touring series and top weekly talent filling a jam-packed summer of racing, Delaware Speedway racing will return for the first time in 643 days when the green flag waves on the United Racing Series season opener on July 2nd.
Track management is keeping an eye on government restrictions and will keep race fans up to date on when they will be allowed to take in the action live.
Monday night weekly practice will begin on Monday, June 14th. Cars will be allowed to practice from 4:00pm – dark with a maximum of two cars on the track at a time. Teams must pre-register to attend. The cost will remain at $50 per car for the evening with a maximum of five people allowed per car.
A Saturday practice will take place on Saturday, June 19th at 12:00pm and will operate in a similar fashion to what teams remember from years past at pre-season practice sessions. The full safety crew, tow trucks, etc will be on hand for the practice day.
