INNISFIL, Ontario — Battling from the drop of the green flag, Cheyenne Charles capped off her points season at Sunset Speedway with a eighth-place finish.

Charles started off the night by finishing sixth in both of her qualifying heats.

Starting fourth for the feature, she’d drop back to eighth in the opening laps, remaining there until the race’s second caution at Lap 13. Restarting on the fourth row, she’d move up into the seventh spot before the race’s fourth caution at Lap 17. On the restart with three laps to go, she pushed hard, ultimately fading back to eighth by the checkered flag.
