INNSFIL, Ontario — With Cheyenne Charles away for the weekend, her brother Derek Charles took his turn behind the wheel of the No. 99 Bone Stock.
His experience did not start out smoothly, as he would make contact with the wall during practice on Friday night. The team would make the necessary repairs to ensure they’d be ready for racing action on Saturday.
Charles’ night started off solidly, as he was able to finish second and third in his pair of qualifying heats. He then battled hard throughout the 20-lap feature, ultimately crossing the finish line with a eighth-place finish.
Charles is proud to receive marketing support from Just Two Guys Property Maintenance, Clean Up and Demolition, Earth Electric, Tire Master Orillia, and G&H Auto Service.
