INNISFIL, Ontario — Battling hard against the best drivers in the province, Doug Wilman scored a 20th-place finish on Sunday at Sunset Speedway.

Wilman started off the day by finishing eighth in both of his qualifying heats, setting him up to start 27th in the feature.

Throughout the event, he began to make his way forward up through the field. However, a pair of cautions would see him head down pit road for service, including a tire change, following contact on-track. Despite the adversity faced, he kept battling hard and ultimately scored a 20th-place finish.

SKLD Motorsports will be back in action on Saturday night at Sunset Speedway, with their bone stocks and mini stocks for Fan Appreciation Night.
