INNISFIL, Ontario — After opening the season with a top-five feature finish, Chris LeBarron carried the momentum through Spring Velocity action.

Running his qualifying heat, LeBarron ran up front throughout the entire duration of the event en route to a runner-up finish behind last week’s feature winner Dylan Holmes.

Unfortunately, rain would set in throughout the rest of the afternoon, forcing track officials to cancel the event before the 35-lap feature was ran. Sunset Speedway has announced that the event will made up in the weeks to come, with the date to be announced.

LeBarron will be back at Sunset Speedway on Saturday, May 25 for the third night of competition this season.
