INNISFIL, Ontario — Making her debut at Sunset Speedway, Shiann Wilman would fight through mechanical issues on Saturday night.

Wilman started off the night solidly in her pair of qualifying heats, continuing to gain experience with a pair of eighth-place finishes.

The feature would not go as planned, as she would be forced to pull off in the early stages as a result of suffering from mechanical issues with the car.

The SKLD Motorsports team will go to work to fix the issues, in hopes of a better run for Wilman in the next scheduled Mini Stock event, which is set to take place on Sunday, May 19 with Spring Velocity.
