INNISFIL, Ontario — Making his debut at Sunset Speedway, Austyn Jennett gained experience throughout the night.

Jennett started off his night by finishing sixth in his first qualifier, followed by a fifth-place finish in the second heat.

Starting eighth for the 20-lap feature, he would run every lap of the event, using it to his advantage as he continued to gain valuable seat time and get used to his car. All in all, he’d cross the finish line with a 11th-place finish.

Jennett will continue his season next weekend at Sunset Speedway on Sunday, May 19 as part of the Spring Velocity race weekend.
