As Miranda Gill continues to make her way up the racing ladder, she will be dipping her feet into the Knightworks Design OSCAAR Hot Rod Series, making a minimum of two starts this season. The opportunity comes as part of being involved in Power To Go Motorsports’ driver development program.
Gill will be sponsored by both Hanover Holidays and Power To Go Motorsports as she takes the next step of her racing career.
“Power To Go Motorsports and Hanover Holidays are very excited to see Miranda step up to full size cars in this tough but exciting division,” Power To Go Motorsports owner Jim Bowman said. “Although we are delighted to see the development, we are also not putting any pressure on Miranda in the first year and that her seat time gaining confidence is the main goals for her. We are sure that with the support of family and the OSCAAR Modified No. 63 team on her side, it should be a very fun and exciting year for us all.”
Gill has been involved in racing since the age of seven, beginning with the Waterloo Regional Karting Club. After competing with them for nine years, she made the jump into Full Throttle Motor Speedway’s Truck Division, where she has won the championship the past two years.
Power To Go Motorsports’ involvement with OSCAAR goes back through several years, debating back to the OSCAAR Outlaw Super Late Model days. Jim Bowman is getting back behind the wheel this season, set to compete in the Queenston OSCAAR Modified division.
