For the third year in a row, the APC Auto Parts Mini Stock Youngguns Showcase had a different race winner, following a thrilling battle at the front of the field.

The race did not start off cleanly as Cayden Lapcevich, driving a Nolan Gould owned ride, drove through the grass on the second lap. He then got into Gil Brooks down the backstretch on Lap 3, followed by spinning Chandler Bos in turn three. It was discovered post-race that Lapcevich had no brakes.

The rest of the event went clean with just one single-car spin slowing down the action. Fans were entertained, though, as Coltin Everingham and Miles Tyson traded the lead back and forth, with Everingham taking the win. Everingham was driving Eric Yorke’s Nissan, while Tyson was once again behind the wheel of Fred Jordan’s ride.

Nolan Gould finished third, followed by Brooks, Bailey Jacobs (driving Ryan Babin’s), Bos, and Thomas Dunn.
