Battling hard throughout the 25-lap feature, Lisa DeLeeuw came up just short of finishing inside the top-10 at Sunset Speedway.

DeLeeuw started off the night with a fourth-place finish in her first heat, followed by a fifth-place finish in her second qualifier.

Starting third in the feature, she’d fall back in the early stages to the seventh-position by the first caution. From there on, she continued to battle hard throughout the rest of the event, ultimately crossing the finish line with an 11th-place finish.

She will hope to get back inside the top-10 this weekend on Saturday, August 19 in the 14th night of points competition.
