After breaking his arm near the start of the 2016 race season, Sunset Speedway veteran,  Ernie Fumerton is busy back at it in the shop. The Alliston, Ontario Native is currently preparing to run a full 2017 season at the Innisfil,  Ontario high banks.

The former Thunder car champion is no stranger to running with the top talent in the Nascar Whelen Series.

“I am finally able to work with 2 hands , which makes things in the shop a bit easier, lol,” he said. “I am busy doing repairs as we speak, I can’t wait for April 29th to get back out there and run with all the top Notch talent. Last season was very difficult for me watching from the sidelines.”
