Lucas Oil Sportsman Cup Unveils 2017 Schedule

Plans are starting to come together for the 2017 season as each series and track are slowly unveiling their schedules.

Lucas Oil Sportsman Cup was the latest to do so, revealing their schedule on Tuesday to fans and followers of the series.

On first glance, the schedule mirrors the one used in 2016, with the order of races and amount of races per track. The only addition, and unknown, is September 2 as it’ll mark a new date on the schedule. The series has yet to name the track in which they will visit on that date, but suspicion surrounds Jukasa having a date on the schedule.

This past season was a successful campaign for the series, with a battle back and forth at the top of the standings and controversy at times throughout the season. In the end, it was Brandt Graham picking up his first career championship ahead of Josh Wood and Chad McGlynn.

2017 Schedule
May 27 – Flamboro Speedway
June 17 – Flamboro Speedway
July 08 – Sauble Speedway
Aug. 12 – Peterborough Speedway
Aug. 19 – Sauble Speedway
Sept. 02 – (track to be named at a later date)
Sept. 16 – Flamboro Speedway
