Continuing to be fast each week, Mitch Wright put himself at the front of the field in the early stages of the Ontario Legend Car Series feature en route to picking up the checkered flag at Sunset Speedway.

Wright started off by winning one of his qualifying heats, setting him up to start well for the feature. He utilised the track position to his advantage, taking the lead with just seven laps on the board. He then set sail for the rest of the 25-lap feature en route to the win.

Parker Traves’ return to the series saw him score a runner-up with Adam Cuthbertson completing the podium. Jade Franklin and Peterborough Speedway race winner Dawson Drimmie rounded out the top-five.

Joe Adams was sixth ahead of Robbie Sikes, Paul Pierik, Keaton Pipe, and Glenn Morris.

Unfortunately, it was a smooth night for all with mechanical issues sending Matt Boyes and Wes Cuthbertson pit side early.

Heat wins went to Wright, Traves, Adam Cuthbertson, and Drimmie.
