PETERBOROUGH, Ontario — A season filled with checkered flags ended with another for SKLD Motorsports following a great performance by Austyn Jennett at the 32nd Annual Autumn Colours Classic at Peterborough Speedway.

Jennett started off qualifying on a high by winning his first heat in a dominating performance that saw him pace the way throughout. He then backed it up with a fourth in the second qualifier despite starting deep in the field and having to work his way through traffic, with a bit of contact in the final laps.

The pair of solid qualifying heats gave him a solid starting spot for the feature, which he took advantage of the track position in staying of the early chaos to work his way through the traffic. He broke into the top-five with just seven laps on the board, taking over the fourth spot a couple laps later.

He looked to reel in the top-three, and hoped a couple late race restarts would work to his advantage in doing so. However, that would not be the case, instead dropping back a spot to cross the finish line with a fifth-place finish.
