PETERBOROUGH, Ontario — Tyler Hawn made the most of his 2025 OSCAAR Hot Rod season, capping off the championship campaign with another victory in taking home the checkered flag at the 32nd Annual Autumn Colours Classic presented by B&G Towing and Recovery at Peterborough Speedway.
Hawn found himself on the outside of the front row after a strong qualifying effort, and made the most of the track position in ensuring he kept a healthy distance ahead of his competition for the full 40 lap distance. Even with a late-race restart, he was able to hold off the competition to capture his second victory in a row with the tour.
Home track favourite Mark Gordon was second ahead of Luke Gignac, while Dan Archibald and Tom Walters rebounded after making contact together with six laps to go.
Brian Wilson was sixth in front of Steve Book, who missed qualifying and took the green flag from the tail of the field. Adrian Foster placed eighth, followed by Nathan Dettweier and Thomas Wunsch. Wunsch feature ended on Lap 29 after going for a spin on the backstretch six laps prior.
Paul Senior was credited with 11th ahead of Nick Clarke and Matt Spry. Clarke and Spry failed to complete a lap after being one of several cars involved in a multi-car accident on Lap 1 which was triggered by Gordon getting into Wunsch.
Heat wins went to Gordon (x2), Walters and Archibald.
