PETERBOROUGH, Ontario —- The biggest event of the year became a battle of a pair of titans, but ultimately it was Phil Givens taking home the victory in the 32nd Annual Autumn Colours Classic Bone Stock feature presented by B&G Towing & Recovery at Peterborough Speedway.
As has become the norm over recent years, Phil Givens and Jo Lawrence led the field to green following solid qualifying efforts with Givens grabbing the advantage over Lawrence. Lawrence never did let him get that far away, closing the gap as the event came to a close. The pair ran the last couple of laps side-by-side, with Givens crossing the finish line just 0.014 seconds ahead of Lawrence.
Flamboro Speedway regulars Jordan Wilms and Spencer Riddell followed, with Sunset Speedway’s Austyn Jennett completing the top-five.
2025 Two Speed Nationals Champion Matt Young was sixth in front of Jacob Stavropolous, Craig Cole, David Rockwood, and Tegan Stanley.
Wayde Thorne had an incredible save on Friday night during qualifying, parlaying that into an 11th in the feature, followed by Nathan Rhea, Calvin Reesor, Dan Storey, Connor Ellis, Chris Allard, Nick Tooley, Ryan McNicol, Chance Rogers, and Tanner Holmes. Notably, Reesor had to win the B-Main to make the main event.
Eric McLean came back from contact during the B-Main for 21st in the main event ahead of Christen Lavalle, Mark Allan, Justin Stoyanovski, Leo Labarbera, Shawn Solomon, Kali Dearmer, and Alexis Melhuish.
With over 50 cars on the property, there was a C-Main and B-Main used to set the field for the event.
