PETERBOROUGH, Ontario — In a dominating performance, Robin McLean picked up the final checkered flag out of the Outlaw Midgets presented by Glenn Styres Racing season at Peterborough Speedway as part of the 32nd Autumn Colours Classic presented by B&G Towing.
McLean found his way to the front quickly, and did not look back as he dominated en route to adding another notch in his elusive career behind the wheel of a Midget.
Mike Bradley did what he had to do to clinch the championship, keeping out of trouble en route to a runner-up finish.
Rob McCall completed the podium ahead of Jessica James, whom rebounded after being involved in a pair of cautions throughout the event. Mikey Homewood came back from a spin on Lap 17 for fifth.
Larry Lawson was sixth in front of Dave Inglis, Kevin Spiesz, Brett Dorion and Jamie McLean.
Jason Metcalfe ran up front until pitting on the Lap 17 restart with issues, while Ryan Lusk and Dave Bradley suffered issues with 13 laps on the board. Jeff Puro completed the field.
