PETERBOROUGH, Ontario — Putting himself out front, Chad Strawn escaped the chaos behind him en route to winning the GEN3 Electrical SportsMods feature as part of the 32nd Autumn Colours Classic weekend presented by B&G Recovery.
Strawn won one of the two qualifying heats, giving him a strong starting spot for the 25-lap feature which he took advantage of in dominating the event.
John Baker Jr., though, did what he had to do in scoring the runner-up finish to secure the 2025 series championship despite suffering rear spoiler damage as part of a multi-car spin in the early stages. Brad Stevenson rebounded from a spin for third ahead of Garret Yake and Ethan Thompson.
Glenn Morris came back from a spin for sixth in front of Rob Richards and Rick Warnes. Richards and Warnes were caught up in the early race multi-car incident, as well.
