Mark Dilley Out Battles Walters in Tammy O Memorial at Sunset Speedway

INNISFIL, Ontario — In a battle that will be remembered for years to come, Mark Dilley out-dueled Tom Walters to win the Tammy O Memorial at Sunset Speedway as part of The Last Dance weekend.

Dilley and Walters spent several laps side-by-side through the second half of the event, with Walters continually finding his way alongside after Dilley had sole possession of the top spot through the first half. Dilley cleared him with a couple laps to go, picking up the checkered flag.

Mark Gordon survived a couple incidents with his competitors for a third ahead of John Gaunt and Paul Bogensberger Sr.

Josh Berry capped off his rookie campaign with a sixth in front of Nick Holman, Luke Gignac, Jay Cutting, and Steve Adams.

Cory McAllister pulled off with 10 laps to go, while Dan Archibald found himself facing the inside frontstretch wall after something broke four laps prior to that. The pair had contact together in the opening laps after a three-wide move by McAllister going into turn one, with Archibald going for a spin on Lap 3. The pair also had separate contact with Gordon during the event, as well.

Tanner Holmes pulled off on Lap 24, while Jason King headed pit side on Lap 3 after climbing the frontstretch wall off of turn four.
