INNISFIL, Ontario — The speed has been there all season, and it shined through for Josh Stade as he dominated the Simcoe County Shootout at Sunset Speedway as part of the Last Dance weekend.

Taking the green flag in third following the Cowboy Re-Draw, he wasted no time marching his way forward to the front of the field. From there, he drove away from the competition and stretched his advantage throughout even with a pair of mid-race cautions.

2025 Sauble Speedway Champion Tom Gibbons turned a pole starting spot into a runner-up, with Dustyn Mombourquette making a charge in the second half of the feature for third. Dale Shaw and Jordan Howse completed the top-five.

Erik Dalla Riva returned for a sixth in front of Gord Shepherd, Connor Maltese, Chris Howse, and Jacob Mercer.

Mike Bentley’s feature ended after issues with 58 laps on the board, while Ryan Kimball went up in smoke on Lap 12.

Gerrit Tiemersma suffered a mechanical failure in turns one and two on Lap 6.
