INNISFIL, Ontario — The checkered flags keep coming for Doug Butler as he picked up the win in the Mini Stock feature as part of Sunset Speedway’s Last Dance weekend.

Doug Butler quickly made his way through the traffic, taking over the lead in the opening 15 laps to assert his dominance over the field. He then held off the competition on a pair of restarts which followed en route to picking up the win.

Blaise Shaw ran consistently inside the top-five throughout the event en route to a runner-up finish ahead of Ryder White, Michael Robinson III, and Curtis Burnett.

Jacob Sutcliffe led laps early, but found himself facing the wrong way with a couple laps to go courtesy of contact with Will Gibbons. Gibbons was blackflagged for the contact and sent pit side.

The race featured a short red flag when Alex Stewart launched in the air on a mid-race restart after a stack up coming to the green. He was okay.
